| In August 1999 a rededication ceremony was held -- a Centennial Memorial honoring the life of Confederate Colonel, Leonidas Willis, Texas Cavalry Regimental Commander. Hundreds participated, hundreds more attended. The event was organized and performed by Sons of Confederate Veterans (SVC) Camp 1799, Salem, Oregon. |
