OBITUARY: 
George L. Bowman, 80, died Saturday, November 29, at a local hospital. Born in Illinois. Member of Methodist church. Survived by one daughter, Mrs. O. H. Harold, Salem; two sons, Harry of Mt. Vernon, Ore., and Walter of Salem; a brother, F. D. Bowman, Salem, several nieces and nephews, 25 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Services from Terwilliger-Edwards Funeral home Wednesday, December 3, at 1:30 p.m., Rev. Mr. Knotts officiating. Interment in IOOF cemetery. Oregon Statesman 3 Dec 1941 5:2
