1900 OR CENSUS - Julia Brewster, age 65, mother of 3 children 2 of whom are living at the time of the census, b. May 1835 in New York, is enumerated with her husband of 42 years, Oren C. Brewster, age 71, b. Jan 1829 in New York.
DISCREPANCY - Marriage record gives her husbands name as Owen, 1900 CENSUS gives his name as Oren, obit as Olan.

OBITUARY: At the residence of D. A. White, in North Salem, Monday, June 10, 1901, at 10:45 a.m., Mrs. Julia Brewster aged 66 years, 1 month and 4 days, of tuberculosis.
Deceased was born in Fort Ann, Washington county, New York, May 4, 1835, where she lived for a number of years and came to Oregon in 1890. She was married in 1858, in Greenwood, Illinois, to O. C. Brewster, who with two children, Frank Brewster of Venice, Oklahoma, and Mrs. D. A. White of Salem, survives her. She was a life long member of the Baptist church. She has been an invalid for the past twelve years, bearing her suffering with true Christian fortitude.
The funeral will be conducted this afternoon at 2 p.m. at the residence of D. A. White, by Elder Wm. Manning, of the Christian church.
