DEATH CERTIFICATE: OSBH DC (Marion County 1913) #1595 (note: Marion crossed off and Linn County hand written in) - Herbert Bottenburg, male, married, occupation printer, b. Holland, Michigan, d. 4 Apr 1913 in Salem, Oregon (OSIA) at the age of 66 years, informant OSIA records, Clough burial in I.O.O.F. cemetery.
[There are two death certificates for him - Linn Co. #1593, death date 4 Apr 1913, and Linn Co. #2672, death date 4 Mar 1913. Both certificates originally for Marion Co. but were reassigned to Linn Co because he came to the hospital from Lebanon. According to Archivist Lane Sawyer at the State Archives, death cert. #2674 for 4 Mar is a clerical error, which cannot be corrected.]
