OBITUARY:
BROWNELL - Wednesday, February 12, 1896, at his home, four miles southeast of Salem, of heart disease, A. W. Brownell, aged 64 years.
Deceased was born in Rennslaer [Rensselaer] county, New York, and leaves a wife and six children to mourn his death. S. S. and Martha live at the home place, and four sons are scattered about the east. The funeral will take place at the home at 9 a.m., Friday, and burial at Rural cemetery, Rev. Belknap of Turner, officiating.
