OBITUARY: Silas L. Akins, at the residence near Scio, February 17, at the age of 86 years. Survived by sons, Earl Akins of Lenore, Idaho, and Roy Akins of Scio; a daughter, Mrs. Beulah Brendt of Walla Walla. Services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. from the Rose Lawn chapel with interment in the Odd Fellows cemetery.
