DEATH CERTIFICATE: 
OBITUARY: 
At the residence of John Savage, opposite the state fair ground north of Salem, at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, 1895, Mrs. John Byrne, aged 62 years. The funeral will be held at the First Presbyterian church in this city at 2 p.m. tomorrow, Thursday, and interment will be beside her deceased husband in the family lot in Rural cemetery. The funeral cortege will leave the residence at 1 o’clock. 
Mrs. Byrne was one of the early pioneers of Marion county, herself and husband residing in Salem for many years. Everyone was acquainted with John Byrne, who at one time, was numbered among the business men hereabouts. He departed this life about eighteen years ago. A son, Prince Byrne, survives them. Deceased was an invalid for several months, her affliction being cancer of the stomach.
