Survived by widow, Mary Caldwell of Island City; children, Mrs. Katherine Anderson and Mrs. Helen Rainey, both of Portland, Mrs. Maybelle Volswinkler of La Grande, Herman Caldwell of San Bernardino, Cal.; eleven grandchildren.
