OBITUARY: 
William S. Carpenter, aged 87, died in Scio, Oregon, June 24. Survived by his widow, Lydia A., and daughter, Mrs. Maude Roadarmel, of Scio, and three grandchildren. He was a member of Sedgewick post. Funeral services Friday at 2 p. m., at the chapel. Rev. Breit, and post members in charge. Interment in IOOF cemetery. Webb funeral parlors officiating.
