OBITUARY:
At her home, corner of High and Trade streets, at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, January 14, 1893, from heart disease, Mary Ann Avert.
Mrs. Avert had been ill but a few days, and her death was wholly unexpected. During the afternoon yesterday she felt bad and rested on the sofa. At her request she was raised to a sitting position, when she fainted. Reviving, she felt considerably better. She was raised up again and fainted a second time and died after a few moments without regaining consciousness. Notice of the funeral will be given later.
