1910 CENSUS of Salem Pct. #1: Jennie Chapman, age 55, b. Iowa, head; Rhoda L. Chapman, age 32, b. Oregon and Sarah L. Thatcher, age 83, b. New Hampshire.
1920 CA CENSUS - Jennie E. Chapman, age 67, widowed,b. Iowa, is enumerated in the home of her son-in-law, George Mack, age 56, b. Wisconsin, and [daughter] Loru C. Mack, age 49, b. Oregon, along with Oda L. Chapman, age 41, identified as sister-in-law [of George] b. Oregon.

OBITUARY: 
CHAPMAN SERVICES WILL BE SATURDAY 
Mrs. Jennie Thatcher Chapman, who was born May 26, 1852 in Iowa, while her parents were crossing the plains, died at her home here Thursday. 
Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Thatcher, located in California in the early days, but came to Oregon and Salem more than 75 years ago. She was married to Memory Chapman at the age of sixteen years.  He died many years ago. 
Mrs. Chapman was a member of the Congregational church for more that 60 years, and was a charter member of the Salem chapter, Eastern Star. Surviving her are three children, Miss Oda Chapman and Mrs. Lot L. Pearce of Salem, and Mrs. Lora Mack of Los Angeles. Funeral services will be held at Rigdon’s mortuary here at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.  Interment will follow in the Odd Fellows cemetery.
