OBITUARY: 

Alfred E. Chittick passed away at his home, 2234 Lee street at the age of 70 years. Survived by his wife, Sofie; two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Rush of Salem and Mrs. Bertha Jorgenson of Talbot; three sons, Charles S., Ernest S., both of Salem, and William A. of Manila, P.I., and 11 grandchildren. Services Saturday, October 21, at 10 a.m. from Clough-Barrick chapel, Rev. C. W. Pogue will officiate.
