(age 11), both born in Calif., and Fanny A (age 9), Sarah C. (age 7) Hancock (age 1), Mary C. Burch (adopted, age 16) and Holt Frazer (male, age 7, adopted), all born in Oregon.
BIOGRAPHICAL: 
Mr. A. S. Comegys, of this city; has received the sad news of the death of his father, Mr. Jacob Comegys, at San Jose, Cal. He was born in Hagarstown, Maryland, in 1798, and came to Oregon in the year 1847, and removed to California in 1856, where he has since resided. He was formerly an old and esteemed resident of Yamhill county and leaves many friends to mourn his death.
