Charles Craig, 68, Succumbs.
Graveside services will be held at 5 pm today at Salem Pioneer Cemetery for Charles Craig, 68, a prominent former Salem resident who died last week in Seattle, Washington.
Prior to 1933, when he moved from Salem to Seattle, Craig was employed here for many years here in the Secretary of State's Office. He was born in Salem in 1893, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Sumpter Craig, an early Salem Pioneer family.
Survivors include the widow, the former Helen Jordan; Seattle; a son, Peter; also Seattle; and a sister, Mrs. C H White of Los Angeles.
After moving to Seattle, Craig was employed by Puget Sound Power Company. Virgil T. Golden Mortuary is in charge of services.
