"The name of my father's first wife was Susan A. Marsh. Father married her on April 18, 1850, when he was about 23 years old. After the death of my father's first wife he married my mother, Helen S. Gregory, whose father, David Gregory, went to California in 1849."

OBITUARY: DIED--Mrs. H. S., wife of Mr. Warren Cranston of Waldo Hills, aged 47 years. The funeral next Thursday at 10 o'clock a.m. at the IOOF Cemetery.

BURIAL--The remains of the wife of Warren Cranston, a well known citizen of the Waldo Hills, were buried in Odd Fellows' Rural Cemetery, yesterday.
