OBITUARY:
LESTER M. DAVIDSON; AGED ELEVEN YEARS, DIES AT THE HOME OF HIS FATHER, HON. T. L. DAVIDSON At 6 o'clock yesterday evening, at the Morningside home of his parents, Hon. And Mrs. Thomas L. Davidson, Lester Mellson Davidson sank quitly and happily into death, the culmination of a forthnight's grievious illness from acute bronchitis. He was the youngest son of the family, having been born on June 9, 1887, and was warmly loved in his home, and far beyond it, for the pronounced attributes of virtue and gentleness possessed by him. Naturally delicate and denied the indulgence of the heartier pastimes of ordinary boyhoon, his character was developed by associations and pursuits of a quieter and more expansive sort. Polite, obedient, considerate and disposed to the greater habits and phases of life, he won distinction in his studies and found his chief pleasure in his home and the duties revolving on him there. He had a reverent nature and deep religious conviction for a lad of eleven years, and died comforted by the faith he had cherished. Besides the affectionate parents who mourn his early demise, he leaves one brother, his elder by a few years, T. L. Davidson, Jr., to grieve for the broken ties of brotherhood and companionship. The funeral will take place, this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, from the family home at Morningside, Rev. G. W. Grannis, pastor of the First M. E. church officiating, and interment will be had at Rural cemetery. OS 19 April 1898 5:3
