OBITUARY: 

Walter Leonard Davis, 78, died at his home at 2945 Hollywood Drive, NE, Thursday.
Services will be Saturday at 10:30 p.m. at Rigdon Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Karn of Portland officiating. Burial will be at Salem Pioneer Cemetery.
Davis was a retired railroad engineer. He had moved to Oregon 70 years ago from Minnesota. He was a member of AF/AM Lodge 50 and Presbyterian Church.
Survivors are his wife, Ella Mae Davis, Salem; sisters, Mrs. Grace Collins and Miss Evelyn Davis, Long Beach, Calif., Miss Anna David, Pasadena, Calif., Mrs. Christine Tangan, Ramona, Calif., and Mrs. Laura Templeton, Los Angeles, Calif.
