OBITUARY: 
CLIFFORD ARMSTRONG DIES ON TRAIN 
Clifford Armstrong, a son of W. H. Armstrong of this city, died very suddenly this morning on the Southern Pacific train between Hubbard and Portland at about 11 o'clock. His death was caused by heart failure. He was 23 years old and has been employed in car repair shops No. Two at Hubbard. 
The remains will be buried Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Buckingham residence on South Commercial Street. Capital Journal 13 November 1911 10:4 

CLIFFORD ARMSTRONG'S FUNERAL 
The funeral of Clifford Armstrong, who expired from heart failure on the train at Hubbard, was held yuesterday from the home of his sister, Mrs. Roy Buckingham. A large number attended and there were many beautiful floral offerings. The funeral sermon was preached by Rev. P.S. Knighyt and interment was made in I.O.O.F cemetery.
