OBITUARY: 
Horace E. Armstrong, a resident of Canby, died Monday, April 24, aged 69 years. Survived by widow, Emma W. Armstrong of Canby; sons, Herbert of Salem, Russell of Portland, Dwight of Canby; daughter, Mrs. Mary Edmundson of Portland; brother Frank Armstrong of Des Moines, Iowa; six grandchildren. Funeral services Thursday, April 27 at 3 p.m. from the Highland Friends church under the direction of the Clough-Barrick company, with Rev. Calvin R. Choate and Rev. S. A. Oberg officiating. Interment I.O.O.F. cemetery.
