OBITUARY:
At the Marion county poor farm, at 4:30 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 1, 1890, of disease of the kidneys, James Dyer, aged 54 years. The deceased was admitted to the poor farm about four years ago, coming from Silverton, where he had made his home for some years. He was formerly a member of the I.O.O.F. and has papers showing that he is a member of the Oregon Pioneer Association. The funeral will be conducted at 10 oclock this morning, the remains being interred in the Rural cemetery.
