Faulkner, age 27, occupation stock farmer, b. New York.

OBITUARY: 
John CREIGHTON d. 22 Dec 1884 at his home near Joseph, OR - age 50 yrs 4 mo 9 days; of angina pectoris. Son of James H. CRICHTON, one of eight children. He was born in Scotland, lived there until 11 years old; family immigrated to Indiana. He left home when he was about 19, spent 10 years on the frontier; came across the plains when General W. S. Hancock came to Salt Lake City; spent several years in the Great Basin country, came to the Pacific Coast "about 20 years ago"; m. Mary J. McCULLY of Salem, OR , "sixteen years ago this Christmas". He survived by his wife and 4 daughters.
