OBITUARY: 
Epley—Anna Hamilton, wife of Henry Epley, died Sunday, April 12 at 12:35 p.m.
Mrs. Epley was born in Lewistown, Mifflin county, Penn., November 8, 1831. She came to Oregon in 1865, and has resided in Salem the past eight years. She is the mother of Dr. H.C. Epley, of Monmouth, and Mrs. Alice E. Dodd, who with her husband live to mourn their loss. Mrs. Epley has been for many years a faithful and consistent member of the M. E. Church. Her prolonged illness was borne in Christian fortitude and patience.
“She being dead yet speaketh.”.
The funeral services will take place from the M. E. Church at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 14. Friends who wish to view the remains may do so at the residence before the funeral service.
