OBITUARY: WILL BE BURIED AT SALEM – The remains of Mrs. Mary C. Farmer, wife of Re. J. P Farmer, pastor of the First Baptist church of this city, will arrive in Salem Thursday morning. After brief funeral services at the parsonage on Liverty street the remains will be interred in rural cemetery. Mrs. Mary C. Farmer died in Cheyenne, Wyoming, April 10, 1895, after a lingering illness. Deceased leaves four children to mourn her death – Mrs. A. H. Jessup and Thos. L. Farmer of south Haven, Michigan and Wm. H. and Minnie E. Farmer of Salem.

Mrs. Farmer's Funeral.
The remains of Mrs. J. P. Farmer, deceased wife of the pastor of the First Baptist church, Salem, will arrive from Cheyenne, Wyoming, by today's 11 a. m. train and be taken to the parsonage on Liberty street where at 2 o'clock a brief funeral service will be conducted and interment will be had in Rural cemetery. Mrs. Farmer died at Cheyenne on April 10th, since which time her husband and family have become residents of Salem and they decided to remove the remains here.
