OBITUARY:
At his home at 258 Chemeketa street, Saturday morning, May 7, 1892, George S. Phillips, aged 56 years. The deceased came here from Hamilton, Ontario, four years ago and since then has been confined to the house the greater part of that time with spinal disease. He leaves a wife and three sons -- John of Victoria, British Columbia, James, of Menlo Park, California, and William, of Albany, Oregon. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today at the house and the interment will be conducted at the Rural cemetery by the I. O. O. F. and the A. O. U. W.
