T. Rigdon & Son, informant Rebecca J. Bales.

OBITUARY: 

At West Salem, April 16, William Wallace Bales, a veteran of the Civil war, aged 82 years, father of Nora Bales of Salem, William J. Bales of Minnesota, Elmer W. Bales of Long Beach, Wash., and Mrs. Josephine Shutt of Medford, step-father of Frank A. Fredrickson of Iowa, James W. Fredrickson of Salem, and Edwin J. Fredrickson of Idaho, brother of Commodore Bales of Nampa, California, John Bales of Point Richmond, California, and Mrs. Sarah M. Huff of California. Also survived by several grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 20 at 10 a. m., from the Rigdon mortuary, under the auspices of Sedgwick post of the Grand Army of the Republic. Interment will be in IOOF cemetery.
