A Milwaukee Wedding
Wednesday Evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Gibson of Milwaukee a quiet but charming wedding occured. Mr. Orley H. Gilbert and Miss Lotty [Lottie] S. Pound being united in marriage by Rev. Waltz of Selwood [Sellwood].
The bride was exquisitively gowned in gray silk and appliqued chiffon, and carried a bouquet of carnations and bride roses. After the ceremony when the quests had tendered congratulations, all participated in an elegant dinner, covers being laid for ten.
The prevailing decorations were of Oregon grape. The bride is the daughter of F. LO. Pound of Aumsville and well known in Marion county. As is also the groom who residedat Aumsville until about a year ago and has since then been connected with the Oregon Telephone Company of Portland.
Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert will be at home to their many friends at 270 Montgomery St., Portland, after March 1st.
