Final Services for Mrs. Gillingham Slated Monday
Funeral services for Mrs. Newtonia Harriett Gillingham, lifelong resident of Salem, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the W. T. Rigdon Chapel. She died in a convalescent home Friday following a long illness. 
Mrs. Gillingham was born in Salem Oct. 10, 1884. Her father Thomas N. McCauley, was an early-day barber in Salem. In 1904 she was married to Edward N. Gillingham, for many years state supreme court librarian. He died in 1950. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Alice Park, Chicago, and Miss Marion McCauley, San Francisco. Concluding services will be held in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of the W. T. Rigdon Co.
