OBITUARY: 

GRIERSON - At his home north of Salem, Friday, November 8, 1895, David Grierson, aged about 60 years.

Mr. Grierson had been ill about a month with lung fever, and he was supposed to be recovering until yesterday afternoon, when he took a turn for the sorse and died at 10:30 Friday night.

David Grierson was a well known farmer and a good citizen. He was a native of Scotland, with the genial hopitable disposition of that people. He came to the United States when a young man and to Oregon over twenty years ago. settling on a fine farm on Mission bottom, where he built himself and his family a beautiful, prosperous home.

His wife, a sister of Richard Hensley, and three children, the youngest about 9 years old, survive him.
