OBITUARY: 

Mrs Nila M. Grimes, 72, of Salem Rt 4, Box 289, died Monday at a Salem hospital. She had cancer. Mrs Grimes moved to Salem in 1918. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Her husband Pearl B. Grimes died in 1927. Survivors include daughter Mrs James Falk, Salem; sisters Mrs Pearl C. Jones, Salem, and Mrs F. Elizabeth Bennett, Springfield; three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Funeral will be Thursday at 1:30 pm at Virgil T. Golden mortuary, Rev M.J. McPike officiating. Burial will be in Pioneer Cemetery.
