OBITUARY: 
Claude Gupton, late resident of Portland, at a local hospital, October 20. Survived by daughters, Mrs. Claudene Weber, Lebanon; Mrs. Thelma Embody, Portland; sons, William, Portland; Elmer, Vancouver, Wash.; sister Mrs. Homer Harrison, Salem; brother, Elmer, Etna, Calif.; four grandchildren. Services will be held Wednesday, October 24, 1:30 p.m., in the Clough-Barrick chapel, the Rev. W. H. Lyman officiating. Interment in the IOOF cemetery.
