OBITUARY: 
VERA McCALLISTER HALL -- Vera McCallister Hall, 72, of 443 Illinois Ave. NE, died Thursday in a Salem hospital. She was born in Ketchum, Oklahoma. Survivors include a daughter, Norma Jean McCallister, Portland; son Arthur Charles Hughes, Alameda, California; brothers, Forrest Haines, Yuma, Arizona. Lester Haines, Chicago, Illinois, and Chester Haines, Salem; sister Alice McCallister, Salem; one grandchild and one great-grandchild. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Rigdon-Ransom mortuary. Interment follows at City View [sic] Cemetery.
