OBITUARY: FUNERAL APRIL 30 FOR AGGIE HARRIS.
Gervais, April 24. Friends of Mrs. Aggie Harris, formerly Miss Aggie Jones of this community, were saddened Saturday by the word that she had died in the McMinnville hospital Friday from burns received when her cottage, near Grand Ronde burned. She is survived by two children, E. L. Harris of Portland, and Greta of Rickreal, and several brothers and sisters, among whom are Mrs. Grace Austin of Woodburn. The daughter, Greta, is in the McMinnville hospital recovering from and appendicitis operation.
Funeral services have been set for Monday, April 30, at 2 o'clock at the Oak Grove church and burial will be at 3 o'clock in the I.0.0.F. cemetery at Salem beside her husband. Mrs. Harris, who was a member of the pioneer Jones family of this section, was teaching school at Grand Ronde at the time of her untimely death. Oregon Statesman 25 Apr 1934 4:7.
