OBITUARY: 
In this city, Monday, October 30, Lollie Mercedes Baker, aged 62 years, late resident of 215 East Lincoln street. Wife of Edwin L. Baker and sister of Mose Brinkerhoff, Mrs. Onie Milliman, Mrs. Dux Cotton and Mrs. Blossom Hanks all of Okanogan, Wash. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of the W. T. Rigdon company, Wednesday, November 1, at 1:30 p.m. Rev. George H. Swift will officiate. Concluding services IOOF cemetery.

Funeral services for Mrs. Edwin L. Baker, who died Monday, will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. from the chapel of the W. T. Rigdon company. Rev. George H. Swift will officiate. Mrs. Baker was stricken with a heart attack while attending the luncheon at the Salem Golf club Friday. Lollie Mercedes Baker was born in Exira, Iowa, April 1, 1877. She was married to Mr. Baker in 1901. She had made her home in Salem for 39 years. Survivors are the widower; a brother, Mose Brinkerhoff, and three sisters, Mrs. Onie Milliman, Mrs. Dux Cotton and Mrs. Blossom Hanks, all of Okanogan, Wash.

Mrs. Edwin L. Baker. SALEM, Oct. 30 (Special) - Mrs. Edwin L. Baker died here Monday after a brief illness. She was stricken with a heart attack while attending a luncheon at the Salem Golf club last Friday. 
Mrs. Baker was born in Exira, Ia., April 1, 1877, but had lived in Salem for more than 39 years. She had been active in social and civic affairs. Mrs. Baker was a member of the Salem General Hospital auxiliary. The widower, a brother and three sisters survive.
