HEWETT--Daniel W. Hewett, 71, at a local hospital, March 22. Survived by daughters, Mrs. Wade Otterson of Ida., Mrs. Leola Hurt of Mill City, Miss Blanche Hewett of Portland and Mrs. Iva Merrick of Salem; sons, E. W. Hewett of Salem, Bert Hewett of The Dalles and H. M. Hewett of Portland. Private services were held at the Terwilliger-Edwards funeral home at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 23. Interment IOOF cemetery, Rev. L. W. Collar officiated.
