OBITUARY: The body of Rose Esther Hing of Los Angeles arrived in Salem Tuesday morning by express plane of United Air Lines, and was taken in charge by the W. T. Rigdon company. The deceased had been an employe[e] of the California Aircraft corporation. The Hing family lived in Salem many years ago and the father and mother are buried in the Odd Fellows cemetery. Mrs. Bessie Wong, a sister, resides in New York City. The Capital Journal 13 Aug 1946, pg 9
