IOOF - Henry S. Hirons, age 55, died in Linn Co., of pneumonia; The 1880 Census of Eola, Polk Co., shows S. Henry Hirons age 39 b. Ohio with his wife Ellen, age 34 b. Ohio, son Asa age 12, and dau. E. Mary age 9, both b. in Illinois and son Wesley age 2 b. in Oregon. Marlene says that Henry md. Rachel E. Foreman and was a brother of Mary E. Gibson in Lot. #796; Henry died at his son Asa Hiron's home on the 13th of June 1893;

OBITUARY: 

DIED -- At his home near Shelburn, Linn county, June 12, 1893, Henry S. Hirons, aged 53 years. The funeral will occur today at 2 o'clock. Deceased was a brother of Mrs. S. D. Gibson of Polk county.
