Emerson Hoeye Dead. 
Emerson Hoeye of Oregon City is dead in New York, according to information that has been received by his parents, Dr. an Mrs. George Hoeye. He was in the navy and stationed on the U.S.S. Northern Pacific. His death occurred in a naval hospital in New York city. He made a number of trips overseas while in the service. The Hoeye family formerly lived in Salem.
