1900 OR CENSUS - Aurita [sic] Barker, age 74, widow, b. Sep 1825 in Tennessee, is enumerated with son Chas. C. Barker, age 37, b. May 1863 in Oregon, and his wife Nora, age 27, b. Nov 1872 in Missouri, (married 4 years, no children), along with Clara Gilbert (sister-in-law of Chas.), age 22, divorced, b. Dec 1877 in Missouri. 

 

DEATH CERTIFICATE: 
OSBH DC (Marion Co., 1907) - Mrs. Aurelia A. Barker, female, widow, b. 29 Sept 1825 in Tennessee, d. 19 Feb 1907 at the OR State Insane Asylum 19 Feb 1907 at the age of 82, name of father James Davidson, interment 10 Feb 1907 at IOOF, undertaker - W. T. Rigdon.
OBITUARY: 

At the Salem hospital, Tuesday, February 19, 1907, at 1:30 a.m., Mrs. A. A. Barker, aged 82 years and 4 months, of a complication of ailments attendent upon old age.
Mrs. Barker recently came to Salem from Portland and so far as known has no relatives or intimate acquaintences. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today from Rigdon's undertaking parlors on Court street and interment will be made in the I.O.O.F. cemetery. The funeral services will be conducted by Reb. P.S. Knight.
