1900 CENSUS - William Humburg, single, age 47, b. July 1852 in Germany, occupation shoemaker, is enumerated with his mother, Martha Humburg, widow, age 70, b. Dec 1829 in Germany, they immigrated to US in 1885.

OSBH DC (Marion County 1925) #121 - William Humburg, male, single, b. 2 July 1853 in Cassel Germany, d. 13 Feb, 1925 in Salem, Oregon, aged 71 y's, 7 m's, 11 d's, occupation shoemaker, interment 16 Feb 1925, informant Rudolf Butte of Salem, Oregon.

OBITUARY: 

William Humburg died at a local hospital Friday, Feb. 13, 1925, Deceased was born in Germany July 2, 1852, and had resided in Salem for 40 years. He was a nephew of the late William Butte, Sr. He leaves the following relatives: An aunt, Mrs. Magdalene Butte and seven cousins, Rudolph, William, Christopher, Anna, Carl of Saleml, Mrs. A. E. Finlay and Henry Butte of Portland. Funeral announcements will be published later by the Salem mortuary.
