Clarence Albert Hunt, 60, who lived in Salem for more than 40 years, died in a Salem hospital Tuesday after a long illness. Born in Nebraska, he came here with his parents in 1920 and also lived in Mill City from 1950 to 1956. He was a carpenter. He is survived by the widow Nada, Salem; sons Richard of Salem, David in Wyoming, Delbert of Wheeler, Bill of Fresno, Calif; daughters Mrs Sharon Rodgers, Los Angeles, Calif, and Debra Hunt, Salem; step-daughters Mrs Rose Hall, Brooks, Mrs Barbara Durig, Salem; step-sons Sgt Robert E. Fleming, Tacoma, Gary Fleming, Salem; brothers, Roy of Albany, Earl of San Diego, Calif, Lawrence of Riddle and Kenneth of Eugene; sisters Mildred Harpole, Corvallis, Martha Hunt in California, Pearl Finnemore, Los Angeles, Lucille Blake, Albany; 12 grandchildren. Services are pending at W.T. Rigdon mortuary.
