BIOGRAPHICAL:
Obit for wife- HURD, Mary Ann--At Fruitvale, Benton county, Oregon, March 28, 1898, Mary Ann Hurd, wife of Moses Hurd, aged 68 years 11 months and 28 days. The remains were laid to rest at Fruitvale, where she had lived nearly fourteen years. The cause of her death was la grippe and cancer of the face. The above is from the Yaquina Republican, with a requesyt for the Statesman to copy.

DEATH CERTIFICATE: 
OBITUARY: 
In East Salem, Wednesday, May 1, 1907, Moses Hurd, aged 82 years, of senile exhaustion. The funeral will occur from A. M. Clough’s undertaking parlors at 2 o’clock today, and interment will be made at the I.O.O.F. cemetery. Mr. Hurd had lived in Salem for several years, but leaves no relatives here.
