OSBH DC (Marion 1938) #954; Carl Jepsen, usual residence 2391 State Street, Salem, died November 6, 1938 at Salem General Hospital.  He was born April 30, 1880 in Schleswig-Holstein Germany to parents, Julius Jepsen and wife.  He was a tanner, owned his own tannery, maried to Sadie.  He was 58 years 6 months and 6 days of age.  Buried at IOOF Cemetery on Nov. 8, 1938 by Cough-Barrick. Informant, Harold Jepsen.
1930 Census - Carl A. Jepsen, age 49, occupation tanner, b. Germany, is enumerated with wife Sadie Jepsen, age 43, b. Oregon, along with children Delbert A., age 16, b. Oregon, and Harlold C., age 14, b. Oregon;

OBITUARY: 
Carl Jepsen, late resident of 2381 State street, at the age of 58 years. Survived by sons, Harold and Dalbert Jepsen of Salem; brothers, Cornelius E. Jepsen of Dallas, Jens and Julius Jepsen, and a sister, all of Germany. Services will be held from the Clough-Barrick chapel Tuesday, November 8, at 1:30 p.m. with Pacific lodge No. 50, AF & AM in charge. Interment IOOF cemetery.
