OBITUARY: 
Clarence Barrick, late resident of West Stayton, died at a local hospital at the age of 20 years. Survived by his mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Barrick of West Stayton; four brothers, Marvin, Ralph, Glenn and Warren Barrick; one sister, Opal Mae Barrick, all of West Stayton; grandparents, Mrs. Lena Barrick of California and Mrs. Nettie Matlock of Texas. Services will be held Saturday, August 15, at 1:30 p. m. from Clough-Barrick chapel, with interment in I.O.O.F. cemetery. Rev. Lowry of Turner will officiate.
