OBITUARY: 

Matilda Ann Kessel died Wednesday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles N. Hathaway in West Salem, at the age of 74 years. She is survived by three daughters; Mrs. Hathaway and Mrs. Charles Phillips, of West Salem; and Mrs. Nettie W. Wicker, of Westfield, Indiana, two sons; Guy Kessel of Kansas City, Missouri; and B. F. Dickson of Illinois. Funeral services Friday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock at Clough-Huston’s Mortuary. Interment I.O.O.F. cemetery.
