Illinois, (his 2nd marriage, her 1st marriage), along with his daughters Marguerite, age 21, occupation telephone office stenographer, b. Oregon, Emeline, age 17, b. Oregon, and Mata, age 24, occupation private family nurse, b. Oregon.
DISCREPANCY - obit gives place of birth as Salem, DC as Corvallis.

OSBH DC (Multnomah County 1956) #7404 - Ann Lewis Klein, female, widowed (Anthony), housewife, b. 6 June 1873 in Corvallis, Oregon, d. 24 Jun 1956 in Portland, Oregon (Providence Hospital) at the age of 83 years, name of father John H. Lewis, maiden name of mother Martha Means.
OBITUARY: 
Former Salem Woman Dies
Word has been received here of the death in Portland of Mrs. Ann Lewis Klein, widow of Anthony Klein, a merchant in Salem a number of years ago.
Mrs. Klein, who since the death of her husband had made her home in Portland with her sister, Mrs. Helen McCoy, suffered a stroke Sunday and was hospitalized. She died Monday. Born in Salem, Mrs. Klein was the sister of the late James Lewis who for many years was warden of the Oregon State Penitentiary.
Funeral services are to be held in Portland at the Colonial Mortuary at 14th and Sandy Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock. Interment will be in Salem.
