OBITUARY: 
Former Salem resident James H. Lambirth, 78, died Monday in Bellingham, Washington. He was the great-grandson of L. E. Pratt, who came to Salem in 1857. A graduate of Salem High School, he served in the Navy during World War I and learned the printing trade at the Oregon State Printing Office. Survivors include his wife, Beulah, Bellingham; son, Robert, Seattle, Wash.; sister, Mrs. G. L. Simpson, Salem. Private services were held in Bellingham.
