OBITUARY: 
At Chemeketa, Monday September 6, Mrs. Ada May Landon, of tuberculosis, aged 23 years 9 months 21 days. Mrs. Landon was the wife of Horace Landon, who survives her together with two little girls, aged 3 years and 7 months respectively. Mrs. Landon came with her husband to the Homer Goulet hop yard from Portland a week ago, hoping that the open air and camp life might improve her condition, but instead she sank rapidly. The funeral was held yesterday from the parlors of A. M. Clough, Rev. W. H. Selleck conducting the services. Interment was made in the IOOF cemetery.
