OBITUARY: 

Died--Charles Batt, at Caldwell, Ida., April 9, at the age of 97. Survived by daughters, Mrs. Ellen Godfrey and Mrs. Kate E. Elgin, both of Salem; sons, John, Roger and P. G. Batt, all of Caldwell, Ida.; also 17 grandchildren and 34 great grandchildren. Graveside service will be held Monday, April 14, 10 a.m. in I. O. O. F. cemetery, under direction of Howell-Edwards chapel. Rev. Dudley Strain will officiate.
