Funeral services for Mrs. Mable Laughrige, former Salem resident who died Wednesday in Seattle, Wash., will be held here Friday at 2 p.m. in Virgil T. Golden chapel.
They will be read by a Christian Scientist.
Mrs. Laughrige lived in Salem for some years before moving to Seattle in 1959. She was the widow of Charles Laughrige, deputy secretary of state who died here in 1934. She leaves one daughter, Mrs. Katherine Laughrige, a former Salem school teacher now of Pittsburg, Pa., and one brother, Wallace N. Larson, Walla Walla, Wash. Burial will be in Pioneer Cemetery.
