OBITUARY: Mrs. William Baxter died at Dolph, Tillamook county, of pneumonia. Deceased was born at Detroit, Mich., October 7, 1837, being at her death 73 years, 6 month, 5 days of age. She is survived by her husband and seven children--George Baxter and Mrs. M. A. Meadow of Dolph; Wm. E. and P. A. Baxter of Los Angeles; David E. Baxter and Mrs. W. T. Johnson of Spray, Or., and Mrs. P. L. Frazier of Salem.
Mrs. Frazier went to Dolph last Wednesday and she and her brother George accompanied the remains to Salem. The funeral was held from the Lehman & Clough undertaking parlors Saturday at 2 o'clock, the interment being in I. O. O. F. cemetery.
